Anita Huffine Carter

Anita Huffine Carter, 70, of Lilburn, GA, died Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 3 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 12 PM – 3 PM at the funeral home.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Carter, and daughter Heather Baltimore. She is survived by her daughter Christa Watson of Cumming, GA; son-in-law, Trevor Baltimore of Sugar Hill, GA; 5 grandchildren, Eva Watson, Carter Henderson, Logan Watson, Zoey Watson, Xavier Baltimore; sister, Patsy Miller (Gary) of Cookeville, TN.

Anita was born in Madison, TN and had lived in the metro Atlanta area for the last 47 years. She retired from Travelers Insurance as an insurance adjuster and was very active in Mountain Park First Baptist Church. Anita was a loving mother and grandmother, and her sweet spirit will be missed by her family and friends.
