Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Kathy Reynolds Major, age 50 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, March 2, 2024. Mrs. Major was a daughter of the late Clyde Morris Reynolds and Mrs. Brenda Carol Whiting Reynolds of Pendergrass. Mrs. Major was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church and was a Loan Assistant with Bank OZK. In addition to her father, Mrs. Major is preceded by a sister, Donna Carol Reynolds.
Survivors in addition to her mother is her husband, Dwayne Major of Jefferson. Son Jared Roberts of Jefferson, daughter, Kaylee Roberts of Jefferson. Sister, Tammy East (Robert) of Pendergrass. Brother, Dwayne Morris Reynolds of Pendergrass. Best friend, Pam Watson of Jefferson, nephew, James Allred (Sabrina) of Pendergrass and several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from the Pond Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Lance officiating with burial to follow in the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Ryan Kersey, Philip Ransom, Steven Smith, Craig Swain, Blake Bernier and Trey Smith. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home. Mrs. Major will be placed in the Church at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
