Barbara Johnson Parker

Barbara Gelane Parker, age 85, of Winder, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by father, Jarvis Johnson; mother, Viola Johnson; children, Tommy Watson and Debra Watson. Ms. Johnson is survived by children, Johnny and Michelle Watson of Hoschton, GA, Terry and Joanna Bailey Parker of Winder; daughter-in-law, Alice Watson of Winder; three grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Parker, Ashley Watson, Kevin Parker; four great grandchildren, Lyzeasia Watson, Keegan Parker, Gemma Parker and Skylar Parker. Ms. Parker was born on October 6, 1938 in Buford, GA. She received her education in the Gwinnett County school system, and was a retired nurse from Joan Glancy Hospital in Duluth, GA. She was of the Baptist faith.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in a Stateroom of Flanigan Funeral Home.
