Kristin Marie Mitchell, age 52, of Duluth, GA passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen H. Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell is survived by her mother, Kathleen Ann Mitchell of Hoschton, GA; brother, Jeffrey (Stacy) Mitchell of Baltimore, MD; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Morgan, Grant, Connor, Jackson; aunts and uncles, Mary Weiss, Joanie and Bill Makielski, Chrissie and Jim Teske, Joe and Christy Shunk; and several cousins. She was born on May 18, 1971 in East Chicago, IN. Ms. Mitchell graduated from John Adams High School in 1989 and in 1994 graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA for thirty years.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Coates officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on April 1, 2024.
