Lois Harrison Harper

Mrs. Lois Harrison Harper, age 92, of Maysville, GA died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her residence.  Mrs. Harper was born in Maysville to the late M.L. and Flora Garrison Harrison.  She was the oldest member of Riverside Baptist Church and retired from the City of Maysville as the city clerk.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Walter Harper, Jr.

Mrs. Harper is survived by her daughters, Debbie Holloway (Bill Holloway) of Auburn and Becky Sudderth (Danny) of Buford; son, Tim Harper (Judy) of Homer; sister, Rachel Wilson of Maysville; 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 PM, Friday, March 29 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sudderth, Rev. Billy Holloway and Rev. Brian Sudderth officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Harper’s caregiver, Heather Simmons and Amedisys Home Health.
