Deborah Redmon Gaines

Mrs. Deborah Redmon Gaines, age 69 of Commerce passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Mrs. Gaines was born in Commerce to the late, Richard and Lelia Turpin Redmon.  Mrs. Gaines was a member of Blacks Creek Baptist Church and was retired from the Georgia Department of Revenue.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gaines was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Jones.

Mrs. Gaines is survived by her husband, Fletcher Gaines of Commerce; son, Tim Martin of Green Cove Springs, FL; five grandchildren, Bryan, Brennan, Briella, Briley, and Bennett; brothers, Ronnie Redmon of Lula, Donald Redmon of Commerce, Mitchell Redmon of Maysville, and Rickey Redmon of Maysville; sisters, Pat Chatham of Jefferson, Vickie Snipes of Commerce, Linda Evans-Beck of Maysville, Barbara Thomas of Hull, and Tracy Anderson of Commerce.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 30^th at 1 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Rising officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12-1 PM.
