Mary Brown Rodham

Mrs. Mary Brown Rodham, 85, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Ashton Senior Living.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1234 Riverside Dr., Gainesville, GA 30501. Mrs. Rodham will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday, April 12, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 21, 1939 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Whitmore Halvor Brown and the late Medba Westwood Brown.  She was retired from Myers Elementary School where she was a teacher. Mrs. Rodham was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rodham was preceded in death by her brothers, George Brown and John Brown.

Mrs. Rodham is survived by her husband of 64 years, Howard John Rodham of Gainesville; daughter, Ruth Thomas (Rickey) of Athens; sons, David Rodham (Pon) of North Hollywood, CA, Kenneth Rodham (Janet Kaye) of Pleasant Grove, UT, Steven Rodham (Luanna) of Chickamauga; daughter, Janet Jennings (Randy) of Menlo Park, CA; 13 grandchildren, Brett Thomas, Meagan Parker, Rachel Thomas, Brian Rodham, Leslie Whetten, Andrew Rodham, Brandon Rodham, Sara Rodham, Mason Jennings, Amanda Jennings, Laura Jennings; 6 great grandchildren, Lance Parker, Lilly Parker, Lucas Parker, Logan Parker, Lucy Rodham, Levi Whetten and a host of other relatives.
