Tyson Latrell Varner

Tyson Latrell Varner, 24, of Gainesville passed away Friday, March 29, 2024.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.

Born on February 22, 2000, in Alamogordo, NM, he was the son of Catrina Bowen Crayton and the late Tyron Lamar Varner. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and was employed with Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections officer.

Mr. Varner is survived by his mother, Catrina Crayton of PA; sister and brother in law, Janell and LeAnthony Bosserman of Germany; brothers, Dominique Lewis of San Antonio, TX, Tyree Varner of NY; sister, Tianna Varner of Decatur; uncle, Thomas Bowen of Decatur; cousins, Jackson Bowen of Decatur, Travis Gray of GA; grandparents, Herman and Kathleen Bowen of FL; aunt, Janine Rencher of GA; sister in law, Julie-Marie Agustin of VA; aunt, Tasha Walker of Atlanta and a number of other loving relatives.
