Stacey Allen Ramey

Stacey Allen Ramey, age 53, of Hoschton, GA passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Ray Ramey, and sister, Kelley Ramey Canady. Stacey is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Tonya Ramey; children, Amber (Jonathan) Bishop of Mt. Airy, GA, Eric (Candace) Ramey of Jefferson, GA, Cory (Halie) Ramey of Hoschton; grandsons, Hunter, Daniel, and Easton; mother, Connie (Henry) McDaniel of Jefferson; sister, Janie (Kevin) Ritcheson of Buford, GA; grandmother, Virginia B. Ramey of Buford; mother-in-law, Debbie (Gary) Deyton  of Talmo, GA; father-in-law, Jackie (Deborah) Deyton of Canton, GA; sister-in-law, Heather (Ben) Bramlett of Bethlehem, GA; brother-in-law, Greg Canady of Oakwood, GA; brothers-in-law, David (Hannah) Deyton and Levi Deyton both of Canton, GA, nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives. Stacey was born on July 3, 1970 in Gainesville, GA and was a 1989 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. After high school, he was a market manager for Winn Dixie, and then worked for Southeastern Freight Lines for twenty years. He was happily married to his high school sweetheart, Tonya, for thirty-two years, with whom he loved spending summers campground hosting at the beach. He enjoyed camping, going on cruises, hunting, and spending time with his family. Stacey was a man of few words, but was loved by everyone who met him. He was a wonderful husband, father, grampy, son, and brother who will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Thompson and Rev. Aaron Ritcheson officiating. There will be a private family interment. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 6, from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
