Merdith Ann Wilson Stewart

Mrs. Merdith Ann Wilson Stewart, age 84, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Hollis Stewart, Sr.; sons, Hollis “Bucky” Stewart, and Dale Stewart. She is survived by her son, Harold (Elisa) Stewart of Gainesville, GA; Six grandchildren, Scott, Blake, Samantha, Kevin, Felicia, and Christi; 14 Great-grandchildren; 3 Great-great grandchildren; sister, Brenda Thomasson; brother, Jimmy Worthy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Stewart was born February 3, 1940, in Newberry, S.C. She was a graduate of Newberry High School in S.C. Mrs. Stewart was a retired seamstress from Fawn Togs, Braselton, GA; Lovable Co., Buford, GA, Warren Feather Bone in Gainesville, GA. She also worked at X-Cell Contacts in Duluth, GA. Mrs. Stewart was a member of Norcross Baptist Tabernacle in Norcross, GA. No service is planned at this time.
