Dewey Junior Garmon

Dewey Junior Garmon, 88, of Clermont, Ga. died on Monday, April 8, 2024.  A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Christian Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Matt Mote will officiate the service.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024, and on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Mr. Garmon is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Louise Adams Garmon; his children, Chuck Garmon, Pam Garmon, Joe Garmon (Tammie); his sisters Mae Miller (Guy), Nancy Conner (Johnny), Bertie Stephens, and his sister-in-law Carolyn Garmon; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Garmon is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Allen and Nellie Rider Garmon; his brothers and sisters, Kermit Mincy (Virginia), Lucille Sosebee (Ray), Gene Mincey (Ene), J. D. Mincey (Katie), George Garmon and Pauline Peck (Benjamin).
