Laura Sherman Mize

Laura Sherman Mize, age 49, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was preceded in death by husband, Randy Mize, and mother, Linda Lee Bennett. Mrs. Mize is survived by children, Jaylen Mize, Austin Mize, and Kayla Mize; father, Layman Sherman; sister, Shannon Sherman, and brothers, O. B. Sherman and Ronald (Marisha Craigo) Johnson all of Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Mize was born on February 28, 1975 in Buford. She was a 1993 graduate of Buford High School and a graduate of GA Perimeter College with an Associate’s Degree. She was employed as a Claims Representative with State Farm Insurance Company in Johns Creek, Georgia. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service at 1:00.
