Curtis Finney

Curtis Finney lost his battle with cancer at 10:28 p.m. at 76 years of age. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Dollie Finney; daughter, Stacy Finney. He is survived by and leaves behind his soulmate, Donna G. Finney of 56 years of marriage in Georgia; son, Kevin Finney & fiancée, Kimmy Sigmon & grandson, Bryce Finney of Virginia; brother, Jim & Karen Finney of North Carolina; very special niece, Kristin & TY Gerberding, Kira Gerberding and Kyle Gerberding of Kansas; many other family members that are so very special.

Curtis’s life was rewarding with all the special people he met during his journey. He had many high school friends and neighbors in Penn Forest, Stratford Place. He made many dear friends while working at Norfolk Southern Railroad to Georgia. He gathered more friends on tennis teams, Ruby Forest and Deaton Creek. All these people are extended family to him. A special thank you to all of the health care workers that have really helped us through it all!

Please join us in celebrating his life. We will gather at his church, Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church (1450 Pine Road, Dacula, GA 30019)

We also will be celebrating his life at a later date in Roanoke, VA followed by a Graveside Service.
