Alan Chad Gailey

Alan Chad Gailey, age 52, of Cleveland, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 after a long battle with cancer, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

He was born in Gainesville, to the late Donald Gailey and his mother, Ruth Gailey. He graduated from White County High School in 1990 and played golf and basketball.  After graduation, he worked at Barrett Funeral Home. Chad enjoyed doing yard work and watching things grow. He also enjoyed doing projects and fishing in the Chattahoochee River. Chad loved his two dogs Dutchess and Cinder.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth Gailey; his significant other, Susie Reese;  his three children, Megan Gailey, Donald Kyle Gailey, and Michael Lawrence; his grandchildren, Cooper Jay Gailey and Camden Huyck.

It was Chad’s wishes to be cremated. No services are planned.
