Ronald Burton Fisher

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Ronald Burton Fisher, age 84, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. Mr. Fisher was born in Washington, D.C., a son to the late Burton and Frances Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a manager with IBM and was an avid ham radio operator using the call sign W4ALE. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Geist.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Butler Fisher of Jefferson; son, Todd Fisher and his wife Melissa of Roanoke, VA; daughters, Dawn Benton and her husband Scott of Hoschton, GA, Kristina Wells and her husband Tim of Dallas, GA, Nicole Zeidan and her husband Kahlil of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Caleb Fisher, Eva Benton, Liana Lukat, Kendall Wells, Simon Zeidan, Sebastian Zeidan, Jonathon Benton and Mary Benton; and a great grandchild, Lucas Colquitt also survives.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Wells officiating.
