Otis Lamar Hiland

Mr. Otis Lamar Hiland, age 81, of Maysville, GA died Monday, May 6, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.  Mr. Hiland was born in Maysville to the late Ezra and Gertrude Daniels Hiland.  He was a member of Unity Christian Church and co-owner of Triple H Transport, Inc.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hiland was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lacey Hiland.

Mr. Hiland is survived by his son, Todd Hiland (Debra) of Hartwell; daughter, DeAnne Bell (Mike) of Maysville; brother, Carl Hiland of Adairsville; sisters, Frances Doss of Maysville, Marilyn Moffett of Dickinson, TX and Jeanette Haynes of Jefferson; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Saturday, May 11 at Unity Christian Church with Jim Jacobs and Daniel Browning officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 1 to 3 PM.
