"Prince" Henry Jones

“Prince” Henry Jones, age 86, of Statham, GA, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Jones Sr., and his mother, Hettie Matthews Jones.  Mr. Jones is survived by his nieces, Mary Gale Smith of Duluth, GA, Medaline Burzachiello of Fayetteville, GA; Vickie Denson of Duluth, GA; nephews, Larry Jones of Duluth, GA, Mitchell Walker of Lawrenceville, GA, Gary Walker of Lawrenceville, GA, Phillip Jones of Duluth, GA, Allan Jones; several great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Mr. Jones was born May 27, 1937 in Norcross, GA.  He received his education in the Gwinnett County School System.  Mr. Jones was a retired mechanic in the automobile industry.  He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Norcross, GA.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Hopewell Baptist Church, 182 Hunter Street, Norcross, GA, officiated by Bishop William L. Sheals.
