Haroldene Givens Scroggs

Haroldene Givens Scroggs, age 80, of Auburn, GA, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Givens and Willie Mae Everett; brother, Edwin Givens, Wesley Givens, Dwight Givens, Marcel Givens, Billy Joe Everett, and James Givens.  Mrs. Scroggs is survived by her husband of 59 years, Douglas R. Scroggs of Auburn, GA; children, Douglas H. Scroggs of Auburn, GA, Angela Kennett of Buford, GA, John Ray Cherie) Scroggs of Bethlehem, GA, Daniel (Kayla) Scroggs of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Angelene Barret of Dacula, GA, Gelaine Lance of Lawrenceville, GA, Kathleen Burgess of Auburn, GA; ten grandchildren, Christopher, Ashleigh, Kory, Melanie, Austin, Brooke, Kylie, Shelby, Lilyann, and Madelene; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kaius, and Maddie; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Mrs. Scroggs was born on July 27, 1943 in Dacula, GA and received her education at the Dacula School System.  Mrs. Scroggs was owner of Haroldene Cleaning Company for 46 years.  She was a member of the New Cannan Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor L. C. Givens officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Flanigan Funeral Home.
