Benjamin (Wicky) Wilton Allen

Mr. Benjamin (Wicky) Wilton Allen, age 85 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at his residence in Gainesville, Georgia following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2024 from 2 – 3 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Allen was born January 31, 1939 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Archie Allen and Mamie Allen.  He was the owner of Allen Screen Co. and was of the Methodist Faith.

            Mr. Allen is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Annelle Allen, his daughter and son-in-law Kim and Tim Schmitt, his daughter and son-in-law Pam and Jim Baldwin, his grandson April and Ricky Baldwin, his grandsons; Jeremy Baldwin, Allan McMichael, and James Schmitt, his granddaughter; Anna McMichael, his step grandson Jordan Schmitt, and step granddaughter Sydney Schmitt, and his sister Ellen Bennett.
