Velma Sue Banks Allen

Mrs. Velma Sue Banks Allen, age 94, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at her daughter’s residence. Mrs. Allen was born in Homer to the late Ernest and Zelma McCoy Banks. She was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Fred Emory Allen of Commerce; daughter, Patricia McCombs (Robbie) of Easley, SC; son, Phil Allen of Commerce; sister, Glana Biggers of Bowman; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM, Sunday, June 9 graveside at Webbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Rogers and Rev. Darvin Cash officiating.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
