Anthony "Tony" Dale Prater

Anthony “Tony” Dale Prater of Gainesville, Ga passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Leon Thompson will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born on August 24, 1965 in Gainesville, he was the son of Wanda Faye Taylor and Benny Dale Prater. Tony worked for Mar-Jac Feed Mill for 20 plus years. He enjoyed spending time and spoiling his dog and best friend Daisy. In his spare time he enjoyed going to the races with his close friend Shirley.

Mr. Prater is survived by his mother, Wanda Faye Taylor of Gainesville, GA; father and step mother, Benny and Carol Prater all of Murrayville, Ga; brother, Kenneth Scott Prater of Gainesville, Ga, and niece, nephew & great nephews.
