Charles L. Croy

Mr. Charles L. Croy, 85, of Buford, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, following an extended illness.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Hall and Rev. Brandon Bridgefarmer will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born on July 9, 1938 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late William S. and Kathleen Delong Croy. He was retired from Flowers Bakery where he was a District Manager. He also worked in the campus maintenance at Gainesville College. Mr. Croy was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Chestnut Mountain Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Croy was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Croy.

Mr. Croy is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pat Croy of Buford; daughter and son in law, Tracie and John McGraw of Chestnut Mountain; son and wife, Wayne and JoAnn Croy of Lula; grandchildren, Kayla Maddox (Brett), Justin Croy (Amanda), Michael McGraw (Kimberly), Mark McGraw; great-grandchildren, Colton Maddox, Emma Pearl Maddox, Quinn Croy, Charlie Croy, Charles Edward McGraw; brother and sister in law, Robert and Lynette Croy of Tiger, GA and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Chestnut Mountain Church, 4903 Chestnut Mountain Circle, Flowery Branch, GA 30542
