George Edward Bodeep

George Edward Bodeep, age 77, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. He was born in 1946, to the late George and Bertha Bodeep. George attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. He enjoyed his Ham radio, fishing, traveling, and loved the Jersey Shore. George enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. He was a family man and loved every minute he had with them all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Kathleen Bodeep; daughter, Jennifer Bodeep; sisters, Marion Heidemark, and Doris Archer; brother-in-law, George Heidemark, and nieces, Buddy, Lynn, and Dee

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Queen; daughter and son-in-law, Susan Kathleen and Michael J. Botts; and grandsons, Matthew George Botts, and Joseph Michael Botts; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Amy Bodeep; and daughter, Magaret Elizabeth Bodeep; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to prostate cancer or lung cancer research in memory of George Bodeep.
