Jerry Dean Hulsey

Obituary Date: Wednesday, July 17, 2024

Mr. Jerry Dean Hulsey, 70, of Loganville, formerly of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2024 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Coach Garrett Saunders, Rev. Alvin Burns, Rev. Kenneth Kinsey and Coach Bryan Gray will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. and following the service.

Born on March 12, 1954 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Bennie Franklin and Ruby Mae Hall Hulsey. He was previously employed with Bass Pro Shop where he was in Sales, but recently retired.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hulsey was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Chestnut Hulsey.

Mr. Hulsey is survived by his daughter, Tiffani Hulsey Zernhelt of Loganville; son and daughter in law, Benjamin Hulsey and Sabrina of Gainesville, and son, Seth Hulsey of Ogden, UT; grandchildren, Aaralyn Cagle, Peyton Zernhelt, Lindsey Zernhelt, Ava Hulsey, Axel Hulsey; brother and sister in law, Doug and Elaine Hulsey of Gainesville; sisters and brother in law, Donna and Alvin Cash, Debbie Stafford all of Gainesville, Denise and Horace Fortner of Dahlonega; pet cat Bella and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Rd., Gainesville, Ga. 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
