Wilma Ruth Claborn

Mrs. Wilma Ruth Claborn, age 88 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home prior to the service.

Mrs. Claborn was born January 17, 1936 to the late Guy Morris & Ruth Burgess Clark in Buford, Georgia. She retired from Wrigley’s and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. Wilma enjoyed people and talking, her cats, and going to flea markets.

She is survived by her son Tony Claborn of Hull; Glenda Duran, who was like a daughter to her, of Flowery Branch; nephews, James (Judy) Clark of Sugar Hill & Sam (Margie) Clark of Lilburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Irwin Claborn in 2015.
