Catherine Leis Biel, age 80, of Johns Creek, GA passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024.She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Walter Biel, Jr. of Johns Creek; son, Walter Lawrence (Jennifer) Biel of Suga Hill, GA; two grandchildren, Aria (Avery) Flynn of Sugar Hill, Sebastian Biel of Sugar Hill; brother, Kenneth (Mattie) Leis of West Babylon, NY; sisters, Sharon Leis of Babylon, NY, Shirley Steenbuck of Delmar, NY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Biel was born on June 18, 1944 in Mineola, NY and graduated from Half Hollow Hills High School in 1962. She was a retired receptionist from CGI Company. Mrs. Biel loved embroidery and took great pride in her beautiful home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 3:00 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Natalie Cain officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. just prior to the Service.
