Joyce Ann Salyers

Mrs. Joyce Ann Salyers, 80, of Pendergrass, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 19, 1943 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Emmie White Crow. Mrs. Salyers worked for Gainesville Manufacturing and then she retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center where she worked in medical records. Mrs. Salyers was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Salyers was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Lee; sons, Doug Lee, Marvin Harris; sisters, Arzellia Franklin, Mozelle Franklin, Barbara Roberts, Mildred Crow and brother, Luther Crow.

Mrs. Salyers is survived by her sons, David T. Lee, J.B. Harris; stepsons, Ricky Grant all of Pendergrass, Shane Grant of Dahlonega; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Holland, Louella Cagle, Vera Forrester, Brenda Roper; brothers, James Crow, John Crow and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
