Elizabeth Trimiar

Elizabeth Trimiar age 84 of Cornelia left this physical world on Saturday. July 13,2024, peacefully in her sleep.

Born on December  27, 1939 in Homer Banks County,Georgia to the late Eugene "Jim" and Woodia Trimiar. She was a member of Israel CME Church Cornelia, Georgia  and was employed by Habersham Retreat.

Miss Trimiar was preceeded in death by her parents Eugene "Jim" and Woodia Trimiar, daughte Shelia Trimiar Diaby, her siblings Thomas Jefferson "TJ" Trimiar,Irene Trimiar, George  Trimiar, Leonard  Trimiar, and James "Junior" Trimiar

Miss Trimiar is survived by her son Ronny Trimiar of Cornelia, Georgia. Her grandchildren Kendra Trimiar Bright, and  Dedrick Trimiar both of Cornelia,  Georgia and Anita Doraey of Mount Airy, Georgia.

Three great grandchildren Antonia Elisabeth Trimiar and Oliva Trimiar both of  Columbus, Georgia  and Miss Amaya Burnnett of Mount Airy Georgia.

Her siblings Leila Mae Martin of Atlanta, Georgia, Wash Trimiar of Cornelia, Georgia, Patricia "Trish" (Larry) Nicely of Clarkesville, Georgia, Teresa Berry, Carolyn Trimiar, Bobby, "Buck" (Ella) Trimiar all of Cornelia, Georgia.

Miss Trimiar also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, her care team Ginger Turner of Baldwin, Georgia and  Amedisys Hospice Care, Toccoa, Georgia.

The Memorial Service for Elizabeth Trimiar will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Israel Christian Methodist Church, 244 Third St, Cornelia, GA 30531. Rev. Tracy Curry will be the eulogist. Everyone is welcome to join the family in the Fellowship Hall following the service. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Habersham Crematory in memory of Elizabeth Trimiar.
