Carsten Krogh

Carsten Krogh, age 52, born on February 22, 1972, passed away on July 30, 2024, after fighting a courageous battle against a rare type of brain cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Alicia, their two children, Camilla (17) and Carsten Jr. (11), and his loving family in Denmark: Jonna Krogh Christensen (mom) and her husband Torben Christensen, Kurt Krogh (dad), Christina Krogh Nikolajsen (sister), her husband Morten Krogh Nikolajsen, and their son Rasmus Krogh Nikolajsen.

Carsten was raised in Denmark by a family whose values and traditions remained close to his heart. He loved his Danish heritage and valued opportunities to share his culture with his American family. He moved to the U.S. to play soccer for Reinhardt University, where he met the love of his life, Alicia. Known by his loved ones as “Far” (Dad in Danish), Carsten was a dedicated and nurturing man who always prioritized the well-being of his family. He was a fervent advocate for human health, an engaged youth soccer coach, and an amazing father and husband.

Carsten was also an accomplished triathlete. He completed multiple Ironman races, embodying the spirit of giving his best to everything he set his mind to achieve.

Carsten Krogh's legacy of love, strength, and dedication will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, both in America and Denmark. His memory will be forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
