Michele Yvonne Stargel

Miss Michele Yvonne Stargel, 56, of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Delma Simmons will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 2, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on January 30, 1968 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of W.L. Stargel and the late Faye Dunagan Stargel.  Michele was employed at Taco Bell for several years. She loved listening and singing to music and playing her guitar, riding her golf cart, going to Blairsville and camping with many friends. Michele had a zest for life and lived a life filled with love. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her mother, Faye Stargel, she was preceded in death by her sister, Stacey Griffin and grandparents, Hoyt and Anna Dunagan and Laprad and Naomi Stargel.          

Michele is survived by her father, W.L. Stargel; nephew and wife, Steven and Aleta Bruce and son, Colton Bruce; niece, Jenna Browning and sons, Braxton Browning and Zayden Stevenson; niece and husband, Megan and Noah Moon and children, Dakota Griffin, Elijah Moon along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.
