Charles Barrett

Charles Barrett, age 83, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He was preceded in death by parents, John Silas Barrett and Myrtle Buena Martin Barrett; son and spouse, Timothy Charles Barrett and Debbie Barrett; sisters and spouses, Carolyn and Corman Bell, Annie Faye and Zeke Farr; brother and spouse, Ralph and Louise Barrett; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Lois Stewart; special fur baby, Mayley.

Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Pam Stewart Barrett; son and spouse, Todd and Relynda Robinson Barrett; daughter and spouse, Tiffany and Ronnie Hilderbrand; grandchildren and spouses, Cortney and Jordan Koshiol, Crystal Barrett, Gage Barrett and Casey Kersh, Mallory and Michael Husman, Zayne Hilderbrand and Alie Payne; great grandchildren, Barrett Koshiol, Ava Koshiol, Olivia Koshiol, Madalyn Koshiol, Silas Husman; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Diane Barrett; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Charles was an Ordained Minister most of his adult life, serving his Lord. He met with his childhood friends the second Tuesday every month for lunch at the Golden Corral, and enjoyed the fellowship with them greatly. Charles had a passion for his children and grandchildren, coaching them and seeing them participate in sports. He always would be there to support them in golf, baseball, football, volleyball, basketball, and softball. He simply loved his Lord and his family!

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Smith of Abundant Life Church in Cumming officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. before the service on Saturday, August 3.
