Tammy Samples Ballew

Tammy Samples Ballew, age 61, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her father, Harvin Samples and mother, JoAnn Massey Samples.  Mrs. Ballew is survived by her husband of forty-six years, the Love of Her Life, Larry Ballew; daughters, Tanya (Jordon) Partee of Buford, Dana (Shane) Hill of Blairsville, GA; four grandchildren, Deanna Partee, Kyle (Amber) English, Kody English, Skyler Hill; one great granddaughter, Saria English; sisters, Mary (Cliff) Sexton of Winder, GA, Betty Samples of Flowery Branch, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Ballew was born on December 8, 1962 in Buford, GA and graduated from North Gwinnett High School.  She was a supervisor at Lanier Island Hotel for over ten years.  Mrs. Ballew was strong, selfless, loving, hard-working, and loved spending time with her family.  She was the “Rock” of the family.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Walls officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens located in Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the Service.
