Clifford Steve Hollis

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Clifford Steve Hollis, age 70 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, August 9, 2024. Mr. Hollis was born in Winder, Georgia a son of the late J.C. and Thelma Ewing Hollis. Mr. Hollis was a member of Galilee Christian Church and was a lifelong Printer having first retired from Mainstreet Newspapers where he enjoyed a successful forty plus year career and then again from Norcross Tag where he practiced his trade until his health began to fail him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hollis is preceded in death by a sister, Janie Walker.

Survivors include his wife Wanda Watson Hollis of Jefferson. Two daughters, Lawanda Harvey of Madison, and Cynthia Griffith of Melbourne, Florida. Son, Jason Hollis of Bradenton, Florida. Sister, Ann Akins of Hull and a brother, Tommy Hollis of Danielsville. Four grandchildren, Bailey Hollis, Hunter Griffith, Marissa Hollis and Owen Harvey also survive.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 with Reverend Jordan Weldon officiating at the Galilee Christian Church Cemetery. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Jason Hollis, Owen Harvey, Hunter Griffith, Bryan Allen, Ronnie Weldon and Jordan Weldon. The family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:45 P.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home.
