Gail Cheek Prickett

Gail Cheek Prickett, age 81, of Buford, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Tommy Prickett; parents, Bonnie and Grace Thrasher Cheek; brother, Gary Ray Cheek. Mrs. Prickett is survived by her daughters, Marquetta Prickett Wickline of Buford, GA and Bonita Prickett of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Chelsea Wickline, Brandon (Jordan) Wickline of Pflugerville, TX; great-grandchildren, Bane Wickline, Wiley Wickline; several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Mrs. Prickett was born on March 4, 1943 in Atlanta, GA. She was a graduate of Murphy High School in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Prickett retired from Gwinnett County Planning and Development and also the Court System. She was a member of Sugar Hill United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
