Larry J. Barnett

Mr. Larry J. Barnett, age 76 of Nicholson passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Barnett was born in Commerce to the late, Jewell B. and Hilda Watkins Barnett. Mr. Barnett was the owner of Georgia Bark Company.

Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife, Brenda Louise Lord Barnett of Nicholson; son, Dennis Barnett (Stephanie) of Nicholson; daughters, Pam Edwards of Jefferson and Lacy Pruitt (Bruce) of Commerce; brothers, David Barnett and Kenneth Barnett both of Nicholson; sister, Dianne Wells of Toccoa; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20^th at 2 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Dyer officiating with the interment following at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4-7 PM.
