Carlos Daniel Ray

Mr. Carlos Daniel Ray, 62, of Clermont, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Born on April 12, 1962, he was the son of the late John D. and Jessie Mae Hewell Ray. Mr. Ray was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Ray and sister, Larhonda Ray.

Mr. Ray is survived by his sisters and brother in law, Melissa and Danny Boger of Gainesville, Glenda Mott of Gainesville; brothers and sisters in law, Randall and Barbara Ray of Clermont, Wayne Ray of Gainesville, Calvin Ray of Gainesville, John Jr. and Fay Ray of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
