Obituary Date: Monday, September 2, 2024

Mrs. Stancil was born on October 12, 1965 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Gonthier.

Cheryl retired from the Veteran's Administration after 20 years of devoted service, where her passion for assisting her fellow veterans touched countless lives. Her commitment to helping those who served their country was unwavering, and she was known for going above and beyond to ensure their well-being as well as working along side them through volunteer projects, such as Toys for Tots. Cheryl had many hobbies that brought her joy, including crafting, scrapbooking, stamping, and photography. She was also an avid collector, with her Princess House Crystal collection being among her prized possessions. Her creative spirit and eye for detail were evident in everything she did, from the beautiful scrapbooks she created to the photos that captured. Cheryl's adventurous spirit was shared with her beloved husband, Tom. Together, they explored the country on road trips, creating lasting memories in every corner of the United States. Their travels were a testament to their deep bond and love for one another.

Cheryl will be remembered as a "sassy firecracker," a woman full of life, energy, and an infectious spirit. But above all, she will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, affectionately known as "Gaga" by her grandchildren. Cheryl was also a loyal and amazing friend to many, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand.
