Omar Hernandez Prieto

Omar Hernandez Prieto, age 48 of Alpharetta, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Angela Rose Casper Hernandez; children, Sean Hernandez and Christopher J. Hernandez; mother, Gloria Castillo Prieto; father, Javier Hernandez; and brothers, Ulises Hernandez and wife Irene, Francisco Javier Pancho and wife Veronica; Jair Hernandez and wife Mari, Alberto Hernandez, Oliver Hernandez and wife Clementina. Mr. Hernandez Prieto was born on May 1, 1976 in Mexico. He had worked for Ram Arlington Properties for seventeen years. He was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church and an active member of 501 1^st Georgia Garrison, doing charity work for the organization. He played Easter Bunny at Legacy Academy at Flynn Crossing in Alpharetta, GA. Omar loved children and had a very kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was a very devoted husband and father, and loved his mother-in-law, father-in-law, nieces and nephews dearly. Family was very important to him. Omar always went way beyond to help people and his friends at his work. He was a jokester, a very Godly person and had quite a sense of spirit. He loved his dog, going to the mountains, and going to Florida to the beach.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on October 5.
