James Myles Head

James Myles Head age 68, of Cleveland passed away on September 13, 2024, at his home.

Myles was born September 13, 1956, to the late Jim and Meriem (Vandiver) Head. He was preceded in death by his second set of parents, C.A. and Polly (Head) Stamey; and his brother-in-law, Bodo Brathe.

Myles was a 1974 graduate of White County High School, a member of the marching band and president of his senior class. In 1980 he received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from North Georgia College and University. He later moved to Florida where he became a life insurance agent and sold mutual funds.

He is survived by a daughter, Emily Head Drummond (Brandon;) and sons, Nathan and Bennett of Dallas, TX; sisters, Claudia Head Brathe and Joan Head Brown (Joe); Nephews, Jake Brown (Crystal) and children Ansley and Hunter, and Justin Brown (Jessi) and daughter Jolie; and close friends, Charles Aiken and Barry Palmer all of Cleveland.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
