Stanley Lloyd Ward

Mr. Stanley Lloyd Ward, 81, of White Plains, GA  passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on September 5, 1943 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late William Lloyd and Dorothy Couey Ward. He was self-employed in the Landscape Industry. Mr. Ward was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Ward, Sandra Ward and brother, William Ward.

Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Brenda Ward of White Plains, GA; son and fiancé, Stanley Ward and Gretchen Worthan of Tallapoosa, GA; daughter and son in law, LaJuan and Lee Harris of Butler, GA; grandchildren, Chase Ward, Kale Ward and Cindy Denaris, Cameron and Ashley Ward, Cody Harris, Kaleigh Harris, Kirstie Raie Suarez; great grandchildren, Eleanor Ward, Brierlee Rucker, Georgia Suarez and a number of other loving relatives.
