Jamie Alice Diane Miller Godek

Jamie Alice Diane Miller Godek, 72, of Jefferson died October 27, 2024. Mrs. Godek was born in Gainesville, Georgia and graduated from Gainesville High School. She was a loving mother, pet groomer, and manager by profession. 

Mrs. Godek was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Dell Adams (Hayes) and Leon Adams;l  father, Arther Conner; husband Johnny Godek;  Brother, James Garland Wright; Uncle, Leonard C. Hayes; Aunt, Monteen Forrester; and Grandparents, Avie and Author Hayes. 

Survived by her children, Cherlyn Lianne Miller Ashe (Micheal Chad Ashe), John Dewey Miller Jr. (Brandi Miller), Bonnie Lynn Adams Roberts (Ronald Oneal Roberts), Cheryl Denise Adams Davis (Tommy Lee Davis) And God daughter Rachel Ashe; Brother and sister Arther Conner (Barbara). 

Grandchildren Barbara Ann Roberts, Tomesha Denee Adams, Kelly Denise Roberts, Bryan Thomas Alexander, Lauren Miller, Caitlyn Taylor Miller, Christopher Daniel Roberts, Braydon Micheal Ashe. And Great Grandchildren, Timaya Smith, Jayla Smith, Unayia Adams, Tahmir Adams; Aunt, Pat Chastain (Lee), and special cousins, Sonya Atkins, Lesia Chastain, Susan  Hayes Howell, Charles Hayes, Rebeka Morgan, Shon Atkins; several cousins, nieces and nephews and Best Friends, Janice Thomas and Janice Phillips.

The family will receive friends from 11 am until time of the service. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Oakwood First Church.
