Danny Wayne McDaniel

Danny Wayne McDaniel, 64, of Cumming passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 12, 1959 to the late A.R. and Lillian Donahue, Danny was raised in Alpharetta and spent most of his life in Cumming.  He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Cumming and attended Faith Baptist Church in Lawrenceville alongside his son.  Early in his life he worked in construction and grading before spending most of his career in manufacturing until his retirement.  Danny was a simple man who was very devoted to his family and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. 

Surviving are his children, Jessica Hamilton, Jason and Felisha McDaniel, both of Cumming; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Addie, Lillian, Luke, Ella; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Danny Evans, Amy and Stanley Ayers; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will hold a memorial visitation in the fellowship hall of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
