Mrs. Frankie Smith Shoemake

Mrs. Frankie Smith Shoemake, 82, of Gainesville, passed away November 4, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

The family will receive friends and family at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 11, 1942 in Cleveland, GA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mamie Smith. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shoemake was preceded in death by her husbands, Travis Turpin and Robert Shoemake; brother, Lamar Smith and sisters, Rada Mae Dale, Elzaner Howington and Lizzie Hunt.

Mrs. Shoemake is survived by her sons, Kevin Turpin of Flowery Branch, Kenneth Turpin of Gainesville, Kelly Turpin of Gainesville; sister, Frances Taylor of Gainesville; the light of her life her 9 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren who she adored and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
