Robert "Bob" Mac Stout

Robert “Bob” Mac Stout, age 81, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his son, Terrance Mac Stout; father, Robert “Bob” Stout, Jr.; mother, Molly Stout; brother; Terrance Michael Stout.

Mr. Stout is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Dianne D. Stout; children, Scott Miles Stout of Walnut Grove, GA, Crystal Dianne Espinal of Lawrenceville, Catherine Lorraine (Blake) Usher of Sugar Hill, GA, Robert Eugene (Kristi) Stout of Jacksonville, FL; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

He was born on December 10, 1942 in Pennington Gap, VA. Mr. Stout was a 1961 graduate of Robinson High School located in Tampa, FL and attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. He began his work career with Sears Roebuck Company in Clearwater, FL and then had a career with Richs Store in downtown Atlanta, GA. He was an operations manager for forty-six years until the closing of Richs. He then worked for Macy Federated Department stores. Mr. Stout loved fishing, hunting, camping, riding his motorcycle, and hot rods. He was an avid Georgia football fan. Mr. Stout had a very outgoing personality and never met a stranger; he was a people’s person.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., time of the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children Health Care of Atlanta or Gwinnett Humane Society in memory of Robert “Bob” Stout.
