Shirley Ann Hart Ramey

Mrs. Shirley Ann Hart Ramey, age 70 of Stovall Street, Cornelia passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at her residence.

A daughter of the late J. Harvey Hart and Irene Medlin Hart, she was born December 23, 1953 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life before moving to Habersham County.  She was employed in the furniture manufacturing industry having worked with Southern Craftsman for a number of years and later with Cody Road Workshop.  She was of the Baptist faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Dwayne Ramey and by a sister, Deborah McIntyre.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Shedd (James Hires) of Cornelia; grandchildren, Mike Coker, Amanda Coker, Austin Coker, Isaac Shedd and Isaiah Shedd; great-grandchildren, Layla Stewart, Blaze Coker, Amberley Johnson, Ember Coker, Jaelynn Coker and Kayden Johnson.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Ricky McFarlin  officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until the service time.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Shirley Ann Hart Ramey.
