David Tyner

Mr. David Tyner, age 61, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, November 21, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Tyner was born in Athens, GA to the late Walton and Betty Patton Tyner. He was a member of Blacks Creek Baptist Church, a 1981 graduate of Madison County High School and a maintenance technician for Eaton.

Mr. Tyner is survived by his wife, Terri Williams Tyner of Commerce; step-children, Ashley Phillips (Tommy) and Adam Ray (Lacole) both of Commerce; brothers, Frank Tyner (Dianne) and twin brother, Darryl Tyner (Brenda) both of Danielsville; grandchildren, Bryson Ray, Abby Ray, Weston Stukes, Wyatt Stukes and Walker Stukes; nieces and nephews, Carmen Cooper (Antonio), Allison Lapish (John), Keith Skorski (Melissa) and Carey Skorski; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Cash Skorski, Carlee Cooper, Caleb Cooper, Lauren Lapish and Chap Lapish.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Sunday, November 24 at Blacks Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 to 6 PM. Serving as pallbearers will be JJ Gunnels, Chris Gunnels, John Gunnels, Antonio Cooper, Caleb Cooper and John Lapish.
