Cecil Stringer

Mr. Cecil Stringer, age 78 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Eddie Bailey will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Stringer was born August 26, 1946 to the late Fred, Sr. & Lorene Bailey Stringer in Gainesville, Georgia. He retired from Wrigley’s manufacturing and attended Mount Zion Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ada Stringer; son, Michael (Theresa) Stringer; daughter, Michelle Stringer; brother, Wilburn Stringer; grandchildren, Jade, Iyana, Kali, Tyler, Skylar, Maya and bonus grandson, Kobe. In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Shaun Stringer; and sister, Linda Glasper.
