Grover Donald Stephens

Mr. Grover Donald Stephens, 71, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on October 18, 1953 in Gainesville, he was the son of Gladys Mooney Stephens and the late Grover A. Stephens. Mr. Stephens retired from Macklenburg-Duncan where he was a machinist. He was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Stephens and brother Darryl Stephens.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his mother, Gladys Stephens of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Deborah and Jim Van Hooser of Evans, GA; brother and sister in law, Doug and Barbara Stephens of Gainesville and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other loving relatives.
