Edward A. “Ed” Sacerdote

Edward A. “Ed” Sacerdote, age 92, of Suwanee, GA, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Renee Creighton Sacerdote; son, Craig Sacerdote; parents, Ettore and Susie Sacerdote. Mr. Sacerdote is survived by his daughter, Mary Ellen (Bob) Jones of Flemington, NJ; son, David (Kristine) Sacerdote of Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Adam Sacerdote, Nicholas Sacerdote, Jack Jones; brother, Lawrence Sacerdote; nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Sacerdote was born on September 6, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School Brooklyn, NY in 1949. He received an Associate Degree from City College of New York. Mr. Sacerdote was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His career began with New Jersey Bell Telephone that later became Verizon. Mr. Sacerdote also worked for Eva’s Village Halfway House in Paterson, NJ. He was an avid golfer and he and his late wife Renee traveled a lot before her passing on February 1, 2021. Mr. Sacerdote was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Duluth, GA. A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at St. Monica Catholic Church officiated by Father Jack Durkin. Interment will follow the mass at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
