Recie Marie McCoy Evans

Mrs. Recie Marie McCoy Evans, age 86, of Commerce, GA died Monday, December 9, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Evans was born in Banks County to the late Jimmy and Kate Ray McCoy. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, a poultry farmer and cook. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband, James Jarrel Evans; brother, Tim McCoy and sister, Joann McDuffie.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her daughters, Kaye Crane (Tim) of Commerce and Linda Sims (Wayne) of Gillsville; brother, Randy McCoy of Kennesaw; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, December 11 graveside at Beaverdam Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Crawford and Rev. Cody Kuykendall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1627 Hwy 59, Commerce, GA 30530.
